If youre looking to buy one of the gamecube Mario Parties get a newer one, if youre getting every Mario Party get this

I rather play MP5 or MP6 or the new MP7 but MP4 is still an okay Mario Party. Its not really bad in any way but not excellent in any way. This Mario Party has an okay Party Mode, an okay Story Mode, and fun minigames. In this Mario Party Toad, Goomba, Boo, Shy Guy, and Koopa are having a birthday suprise for the character you choose. You must beat the board for each host and then beat them at their minigame and you get a present. Then you get to play at Bowsers board. The presents are kept in a room for each character. So that means you have to do this for the eight characters-Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Waluigi, Wario, DK. Party Mode is different from the Mario Parties before it with many new things such as being able to hold three items, new items, a lottery, and other things. You can play the hosts boards or Bowsers board. Overall this Party Mode is alright. Minigame mode has a tournament for each type of minigame and a tic tac toe game where you have to get three in a row by winning 2 vs. 2 minigames. In the bonus room you can play a mode with some fun multiplayer minigames or a 1 player mode one with records for each game. Overall this Mario Party is pretty good and has fun minigames.
