Ouch! Maybe this is why the fourth time isn't the charm...
The gameplay here is where the game starts to get a bit tiresome. Although the new Mega-Mini system is a good add-on to the game, it's just remixes of other items already introduced in the series. And they cut back on the total numbers of items in the game. What? C'mon, there's no need for a huge cutback.
The mini-games were very disappointing in this game, and I feel this is what hit the game hard in the stomach. They are all too easy (reminds me of MP1) and the AI is just atrocious! I can beat them with one hand...and seriously, I've done that! (don't ask...I was bored, lol) The Card Party idea wasn't too good either, since it's far too luck driven for me to really enjoy it. Volleyball was a bit of a fun time, and it was pretty challenging too. Thwomp and Whomp also have some Extra goodies for you as well, in case you tire of the original mini-games (and you will)
There's not much else to say for that. Easy mini-games and not enough of them, too easy of an AI, and just all-around a disappointing game. Eh, I'm okay with it though, MP5 really brought the Mario Party series back on its feet.
