Mario Party 7 is a good game, but the only real fun is with other people.

When I first played this game, I thought it was pretty boring. You have to unlock all the minigames from the very beginning, but I found that it doesn't take all that long to unlock a good selection.

If you like this kind of game, you'll like this one. The boards are fun and whimsical, just like the Mario universe.

If you are a more of an action gamer, this game will probably not appeal to you. It definitely gets boring in single player.

The minigames are the best part of Mario Party 7. There are a good variety, and they are pretty fun. I especially liked the 1-vs-3 microphone games.

The single-player is just a 1-on-1 version of the multiplayer against a computer, and is very short. Watching the computer player playing the minigames is really boring, and there should have been a sort of skip feature.

Altogether, MP7 is good with friends, if you have a lot of time to kill. If you don't have any friends, you won't have a lot of fun.
