Mario Party can be endearing at first. But soon, you realize that even if you do well with the mini-games, there is no way to guarantee you you will win. And you need to win to move in Storytelling mode. So you have to start a "party" four times in a row just to move to the next level!
When you win, as a reward, you unlock crap such as board features (rose beds, woohoo!).
Luckily, there are some puzzles that are more interesting than the parties such as stick and spin. It is a sort of round Tetris and it can get pretty addictive (though when you reach a wall to a certain level, you won't be able to break it).
Finally, some mini-games were worth trying, but most were way too easy, especially if you played with CPs (even on Hard mode). And games where you need to blow are just plainly annoying!
