Best mario party by a long way if you can't see that read my review

User Rating: 9.4 | Mario Party N64
Mario party i think was a classic for many reasons the music was one of the best things about this game if you had played this game without the sound you don't know what your missing the tunes were amazing and it just makes you want to listen to them especially on some of the boards like mario's rainbow castle or yoshi's tropical island etc. The sound i think is what brought this game together .

Apart from the sound there were many amazing other things you could do like going on the mini game raft which is one of the best parts of the whole game to travel in different worlds with many different games suited for each one was incredible especially the stunning background in this mode you will come across alot of hard mini games, some mini games that will make you really frustrated some minigames that will become a challenge to you and some mini games that you will accomplish in the end in this mode most minigames to you may be easy but some others will be challenging that will just make you stay up all night until you do it. This is how highly addictive this game can be and especially that mode.

Into the minigame mode is where it takes you ages to buy all the minigames that are available it will take you days and days to have bought all of them you just have to keep playing the game over and over again until you can afford all of them. All parts of this game will all become challenging to you will be an excitement to you and make you stay up all night every night until you have completed every single part of the game it's unlimited fun. Also in the mini game mode where you can wind up this shyguy as fast as you can in 10 seconds you have to spin the constrol stick as fast as you can in 10 seconds it's very addictive to keep trying to beat your score or other people's and also in the corner where there is a vase is where you can have like a relaxed play where you don't have to worry about stars etc it's just basically trying to get round the board so you can get 10 coins off koopa and that happens every time you go round once it's endless fun in that mode.

The main part of the game is the game boards each and every one represents one of the main characters in the game which is pretty good and each and every one has it's own feature for example mario's rainbow castle if you get to toad all you have to do is pay 20 coins for the star and then you've got it then after that it will switch to bowser and that's a really annoying thing because if you get to bowser not toad he will take 40 coins off you which you really do not want to get him if you think your going to get bowser if you or somebody lands on a question mark it will swap around automatically that can be good and bad. Both lucky and unlucky occurs in that board but still good fun. Yoshi's tropical island in this board there are two sides one of them with bowser and the other one with toad at the beginning you have to pass this blue block and you can put as many coins on it as you like this way you may prevent others from going across this way one of the players could be trapped on one side forever until he's got another coins to pass if you land on a question mark bowser and toad will both swap places so basically this is what yoshi's and mario's course both have in common counts on lucky and unlucky. Last i'm going to describe you is wario's battle canyon which is quite an entertaining board. Here's why it depends on which space you land on and on what part of the board your on. Each part has it's own quality for example like the one with shyguy mainly has red spaces and shyguy can take someone to come on your part of the board not a very decent part on the board the other has all blue spaces and 1 or 2 question marks and the largest part on the board you have to land somewhere right near the cannon so you can get to another part quicker same with all the others really the other one has boo on it which is a good quality and also has some one player minigames so you can earn extra coins while your on that part but you can also miss boo when you land on a certain part kind of a lucky/unlucky situation and the other is where you start off, one of the smallest parts on the board but doesn't really matter anyway the only quality it holds is that koopa is on it if you pass him you can get a few coins so try not too land after him the last one contains the evil bowser you can only get to him by shy guy because he can take you to him which the part of the board has spaces nothing but one player mini games so that's a good quality about the part and the bad part is facing bowser he automatically takes off 20 coins off you so really not a good idea to go to that part . So basically overall a really mixed entertaining board.

Extras: This includes the items and the different abilities this game has and no other mario party game has for example. spaces: Mushroom space: What this does is that it's all about timing you need to press at the right time to get a normal mushroom which means you get an extra turn which is always helpful but however you could get an poisonous mushroom which makes you lose a turn it's an annoying thing to get.

Spaces: One player mode: If you land on this means by yourself you can have a chance of earning 10 coins each time you land on it alot of them really exciting and addictive a good quality they added to the game.

Blocks: these are items you have to buy for them to be in the game there are many different types of blocks in this game for example:

Speed block: instead of 1-10 in a normal dice block with a speed block it automatically sets you up to 8-10 which is a lucky thing to get so you can move faster around the board.

Slow block- this is an lucky thing because you can only have a choice between 1-3 really unlucky thing to get if you want to move faster around the board

Plus block- Depending on what number you get it gives you that amount of coins very lucky and exciting to get because you really want to get a high number so both ways positive.

minus block: It's basically a negative to a plus block for example depending on what number you get it takes off that amount of coins off so basically negative and positive. Positive: get round the board faster. Negative: more coins deducted from you.

Warp block: The last block is the warp block which can automatically switch you with a different player both good and bad for that one. So it's an unexpected block really.

The final one im going to tell you is the lucky bank which at the end on what amount of coins you've got. You can either double the coins you get, half them or just stay the same so both lucky/unlucky/normal half n half really

These are the fantastic qualities that no other mario party game has more of the reasons why you should get it.

I hope you enjoyed this review even though it's really long but all the main details that you need to know about this game about how good it is and all the amazing things you can do that if you have an n64 and don't have this game i recommend you should get it. If you like mario games you should love this one.
