Looks like Mario has decided to become a sports star. Mario tries to be the next Andy Roddick in Mario Power Tennis. Nintendo did a great job of making an exiting tennis game with its share of laughs. A great follow-up to Mario Tennis, this game will wat to make you pretend you’re Mario and go outside hitting some tennis balls. If you enjoyed the N64's Mario Tennis you can only love the newest installment in the series, even if your looking for a solid tennis game you've found it here.

Gameplay wise the game has practically no flaws, a solid tennis game for anyone. A twist on the game are different tennis courts that you can play on for each character. Each court provides it’s own traps that make the match more exciting. The controls are not hard to pick up controls. It actually makes the game easier. The newest feature is the power moves, offensive and defensive. They are a great addition to the game which makes it more fun.

The graphics are not the best you can find in a Gamecube game but it is not bad. The character models are great. You’ll be too busy looking at the ball to even notice. The ball physics are great as well and the color of the trail depends on how hard you hit and what button you use. The level designs are not that bad either.

Mario Power Tennis has a massive replay value along with superb multiplayer which makes the game even better. You can play this for ages and especially with the great multiplayer and whip it out whenever you want a great game to play with you friends. It all boils down to this Mario Power Tennis is the best tennis installment in the history of the GameCube with perfect gameplay, superb sounds and great graphics you will play this game for a long time to come.
