Underwhelming.

This game feels more like a super mini game, certainly not a 50 dollar game. Ultimately this game is underwhelming, it provides a great, short lived multiplayer experience that will wither and die within a week then it grows boring and unplayable.

It has a unimpressive set of special moves and a simple and easy throw and hit system. You can easily throw the ball where your opponent can't reach it or tap the ball among other moves that are easy to execute and are hard to counter.

The mini-games are all broken and boring after two or three try's.

Gameplay - 6
Mario with a bat. Little more.

Graphics - 7
Its smooth but over simple and undefined.

Sound - 7
The sound just annoyed me, broken gameplay heightened by repetitive sound.

Replay Value - 3
Maybe every now and then you'll throw it in and start a match, turn off the gamecube after the first hit and move on.

Overall - 5.0
Well, i guess its worth a rent.
