Gamespot's reviewer final score doesn't match his/her review, according to the reviewer's own words the final score should have been at least 6.5 or 7 , which leads me to believe that review is biased or forced by external factors, any of the two being a shame, specially when Diablo 3 which is pretty much the same game but in a diferent universe got the score it got even being plagued by internet problems and disconects, it still got an 8.5 . This coming from an all time Blizzard fan and 8 year WoW paying subscriber like me, having played and finished all the games, must really mean something.

Marvel Heroes is highly adictive, and surprisingly good for a free A/MMO-RPG, just needs a bit more Pvp and EndGame content, which should come soon in future patches.

Just like Diablo 3 (have to make a comparison to some known game for reference sake), Marvel Heroes has:
- Powerful and visually pleasing abilities and tight controls make combat enjoyable;
- Flexible, customizable character classes ;
- Endless, alluring loot ;
- Varied locations that cry out to be explored ;
- Harder difficulty levels on the end-game via 3 Dungeon/Instance Terminals dificulties (Tier1-Avenger tower, Tier2-Xavier School, Tier3-Helicarrier) change up the game significantly

The biggest diferences are that Marvel Heroes launched with a very stable internet conection and pretty much no disconects, and has basic Pvp right from the start, unlike Diablo 3 which was plagued for a long time since launch with internet problems and disconects and didnt have any form of Pvp whatsoever (was implemented later).
And when you play you even feel like you're reading an old good comic book every time you hear one of the random voice-over one-liner jokes. For example, if you come across IronMan you hear your character saying something like "Hey Tony! Got a spare million for a poor friend?", or when your Storm aproaches a Cyclops player she sometimes says "Oh hello Scott old friend, how have you been?", and there are tons of those voice-over one-liner jokes diferent for each character which makes the game feel even more alive and brings back good old memories of reading a superheroes comic book

Give Marvel Heroes a fair chance and you'll see how it grows on you and how adictive it is, much thanks to the fresh Marvel universe being a breeze of fresh air amongst the tiring old formula of medieval fantasy.
Hopefully, future patches will bring a better Pvp with more options and maps, and more end-game Pve, to entertain for a long time the players that have finished the story mode.

Uh oh i gotta go now, the city needs me! And the villains... ohh the villains are "dying" for me to pay them a visit...
