A decent fighter, but it doesn't have much depth

User Rating: 6 | Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects PS2
The Good - Decent graphics, good gameplay, good character selection, fun multiplayer, decent voice acting

The Bad - Not a very good story, visually glitchy (at the right angle, cracks appear above the ground, webs appear off the walls, etc..), gets very repetitive, stupid missions

Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects is a decent game.
The fighting isn't bad, controls are pretty simple, and the gameplay is good.
I found myself enjoying the Versus mode more then the story.
Playing this game with my 8 year old brother proves to be quite a fun time, but mostly because it's his first game, and it's just fun having him playing something.
I'd probably prefer just about any other game to play with him, but he's into Marvel.

Now, this game obviously doesn't set any industry standards, but I did find myself enjoying it at times.
Most of the missions were stupid, but web slinging between rooftops wasn't that bad of an adventure.
Although, all the missions were very loosely tied together, if at all, and the story just felt empty.

Also, some of the missions were a bit much.
It took me a while to beat some of them. A bit of a challenge is nice, but with a game this repetitive, it's not too enjoyable to do a level 10 times over.
Although, this game was more easy then it was hard. There were just a few choice missions.

The learning curve with this game isn't very steep.
If you figure out the moves for one character, you've got the moves for all of them.

All-around, this game was decent, but the replay value is very low, and I'd recommend this game to a younger audience.
Also, being really, really into Marvel helps, too.

This game's currently at a $20 price tag, but a 50% drop wouldn't hurt.
