Very disappointing...

Ok, this is the most depressing Marvel game I've played to date. The game offers nothing over other fighting games. The game actually feels like Power Stone for Dreamcast except nowhere near as pretty. Simplistic controls makes the game very repetitive. Same exact combo over and over and over and over. There's about 3 moves for each character. Also, for those who want this game just for the powers each character has, don't get this. They just aren't that good. The characters have 1 grapple maneuver they can do. The environments looks like the same in every location. Flat with a lot of throw-able items and fully destructible environments. Being a fan of EA, I expected alot more. Also, unlocking new characters is too hard. Default setting for the game is on Easy mode which is fascinating because it's still incredibly hard. The game starts off with I think 6 characters to play as out of 18. The rest of them you have to unlock in the most boring repetitive storyline I have ever encountered in an EA game, better yet, in any game. The graphics looks beautiful if its a still image. Basically, just press pause and you'll enjoy the graphics much more. But when it's in motion, it's just plain sad. There is really nothing good about this game. The game has lots of potential if made correctly. Overall, this game is not even worth renting, you will actually lose IQ points by just playing this terrible game. For some reason you do want to play it, lower your expectations for it as far as humanly possible and then in the end, you won't be disappointed.
