a solid and enjoyable if not slightly overpriced marvel super hero game
like the first game in MUA 2 you get to play as one hero out of a team of four this four can be comprised from any of over 20 characters, some of which include Iron Man, Captain America, and spider-man, but there are also lesser known characters, such as songbird, Luke cage, and my personal favorite, Penance. Although comic fans will get a kick out of the familiar faces new comers will still have a blast. Disappointingly though despite all these great characters they can all feel a lot alike fitting into two or three categories with the differences being limited to what color the laser beam is.
As for the story, even though it isn't quite original still sucks you in and you wont want to stop until you have finished. However once you beat the 13 hour or so story all that's left is the side missions which are a lot of fun but only last another few hours. The replay value is there although barely, you'll find yourself start a new game play about another 5 hours or so and then forget about it. this lack of replay value could have been helped had the wii version not been striped down, the wii has one exclusive character that was traded for two levels alternate costumes and a couple heroes, not the best deal.
One more thing worth mentioning is how technically uneven this game is you will find a couple of powerful heroes and use them the whole game, why? Because they are just plain stronger then the rest of the playable heroes, also the bosses are uneven I found the game's two hardest bosses were set pretty early in the game, and the final boss is actually one of the easier ones.
overall MUA 2 is better then the first, but not by much if you can find it on eBay or Amazon for up to $40 then you found yourself a good deal.
