Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, a must have for fans, and also for others. With over 140 marvel characters inside, it makes the perfect game to people who know marvel, and dont know them at all.

With 20 characters playable, you have a wide choice of who you want your team to have. The best part of the game thou, is multiplayer. Single player is fun, but once your in multiplayer, taking down enemies will be fun and easier, for you have the number one tool in the game, teamwork. Yes with the right characters teamed up, chaining your abilities become the main thing you need to win, or in other cases, survive.

The graphics of the game are, ok. When you look at them, they look outstanding, but compared to the xbox 360, and ps3 versions, you can see a big difference between them. In the ps2 version, the graphics are abit improved from the X-men legends graphics, but with the 360, and ps3, you can see a more better view of detail to the environments, characters, and the powers you use. But, the graphics should not be a bother to people playing the game, it is the least sort of thing that can make this game any less fun.

The gameplay is what gives the game its fun, like any other game. Single player or multiplayer, you're still doing the same thing, kicking bad guy ass, saving others, and of course, spending time to customize your hero. The customization thou, unlike X-men Legends, is much different. You do not have the ability to choice your own stats in the game. Yet, the new nice function you can do, is improve the stats of your heroes costume. Going from more defense, more attack power, and element % damager, customizing your characters outfits can be a great added addiction to the game.

With the exception of beating down enemies, mini-games are also apart of the game. You may be saying "Yah mini GAMES!!", but they really are nothing that special. The so called puzzles you happen to pass by, are not at all hard, or difficult. Regardless of age, about any person can solve these problems, giving a 7 year old my controller, it took him three seconds to understand what to do, not from knowledge thou. You are given so many clues and hints to the game its not even funny, and if you cant even solve the mini game by yourself and your asking for more help, lets just face it you're a idiot. With large bosses aswell, even if you are level 99 and can possibly kill the guy in one hit, you are not able to hurt him with your regular ability or attacks, but you have to go through a certain mini game to be able to damage the boss. This is mostly the only one thing that hurts the game, because after awile it gets old and borring.

But above all, its a great multi, and single player game. Whether you have friends or not, if your a loner and play with yourself all the time (Hopefully not Physically), there is no way you would not have fun playing this game alone.
