The marvel heroes are back and better than ever in this adventure that spans the whole universe, with some marvel cameos

User Rating: 9 | Marvel: Ultimate Alliance PS2
The universe is in danger again thanks to Dr. Doom and Colonel Nick Fury has put together the biggest collection of Marvel's superheroes to date. In Marvel:Ultimate Alliance, you can put together you're own band of superheroes, name your team, choose the logo for your team, fight with your team and even eat with your team(Just kidding). The game builds upon what made the X-Men Legends games so good, while it gets rid of almost everything that made bad......almost. There are more powers to choose from, more costumes and of course more characters. Fly the sky with Silver Surfer, or punish foolish mortals who stand before you with Thor, or silent kill with Elecktra. The controls are spot on , camera is easy to control and the characters all have their own unique abilities. The cinematics are breathtaking, the current gen and next gen versions of the game have their own different visual style. On the negative side, the game is a little on the easy side even on hard(The enemies just need more hits to die in that mode), the team A.I still has that irritating tendency to block the door you're trying to pass through, and the camera will get behind walls quiet a lot. Boss fights offer more of a challenge by offering button-mashing minigames to defeat your foe. The dialouge is also very good, and Spider-Man retains his funny humerous nature. Dispite a few quirks, this is no doubt the comic-book to date. Get it.
