A long time ago (maybe in 2005), Activison and Raven Software thought Hey wouldn't it be cool to let players play as a bunch of Marvel superheroes that fight a group of supervillians? After that thought Marvel Ultimate Alliance was born. The idea of forming you on custom four person super hero team sounds good on paper but in reality it should be awesome but it's not. It sucks, seriously. This game is sooo boring. Yes you have super powers and level up but there's really no need to use the new powers you learn over time. Just press the attack and heavy attack buttons. I'm going to be honest. I didn't get far in this game due to the fact of how painful it is to play this. When I create a team consisting of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Deadpool, and The Human Torch I expect it to be awesome not some lame attempt at cashing in on hardcore comic fans. This will be a short review because I don't want to waste time bashing this when I can play something better like Spider-Man 2 or Ultimate Spider-Man. Bottom line, casual comic fans should avoid this like the plague, hardcore fans will obviously get this.
