Dreamcast is back... with a vengance.

Lets be clear, Marvel Vs Capcom 2 was a Dreamcast game first. Well okay it was an arcade game first but if you were like me and didn't have any arcades in your area with this gem (Ironically I now have the arcade machine in my basement) then Dreamcast was your platform. It wasn't until roughly 1.5 years later it landed on the PS2 and almost 2 years later on the XBOX.

At the time this was the pinnacle of 2D fighting. It had super high res 2D character animation fuzed with great looking 3D backgrounds. This game had the most insane combos and special moved yet seen in a fighter and probably the biggest character selection screen until that point.

If you ever wondered who would win between Resident Evil's Jill Valantine and Juggernaught or Spiderman and Mega Man this one is worth checking out. The fact that is is now re released almost 10 years later shows how this is still one of the top 5 best ever in the 2D fighting category.
