Its good...but its not the Dreamcast version

I was actually pretty hyped when I Found out this game was coming to XBL. Its everything you would expect it to be.

You have the choice of almost up to 60 Marvel and Capcom players to choose from, From Captain America, Wolverine and, Gambit, to Morgan, Akuma and, Ryu, the possibilities are endless, plus the Online that was missing from the Dreamcast, PS2 and Xbox is a great addition.

It feels like a straight up port, but then again, we would be waiting two years to get an HD Remix.

Its three on three and takes place during one round.

The combat is face paced and smooth, mostly everyones moves are the same button patterns, and its very very very easy to pull off 30 to 50 hit combos

I will say this, The cheapness that takes place online will surely piss off, even the most hardcore fighter. I found myself in alot of matches, where everyone constantly relies on the help option, Basically if you press the RB or the LB, one of you're friends comes out and does some damage or heals you. Its a great feature to have, but gets abused way to much online because everyone is constatly using it. And lets not forget the constant Berserker Barriage by Wolverine, if done right, you can constantly keep a person in the corner and they are defenseless against it. So, before you play online, play the game on hard or expert so you know all you're moves to a T.

The Soundtrack still sucks, but thats what in game soundtracks are for.

One thing that does dissapoint me alot, is the fact that everyone and everything is already unlocked. In my view, it takes away from the games high replay value that was found on the Dreamcast.

It is a great fighting game dont get me wrong, but the fact that everyone and everythings unlocked, takes away from the games original fun and sense of accomplishment. Which is why I gave the game an 8. If you actually had to work to unlock everyone, then it would have gotten a 9.5 to a perfect 10 from me.

Ether way, its worth the 15 bucks, so go download the Holy Grail of fighting games right now.
