There are no surprises here. This is simply one of the best RPGs you can play

So as usual I have to comment predominantly on Gamespot's score. I get they are critics, but the cons they listed are so very minor and this game is so much more accessible than Dragon Age yet gets a lower score? I'm sorry, but the best games get out of your way while still doing the things they need to do. Dragon Age does not do this. It is a very very good RPG (old school), but ME2 sets the bar for RPGs everyone wants to play. Not only are the graphics far superior to DAO, but the environments are more detailed and the gameplay is very well balanced. I like not having to do too much inventory management and I like loading my wanted items right before a quest. It is very easy to get your teammates to move where you want them and to use biotics. The settings are very interesting and the plot is very good. And if you think I don't like dwarves and goblins, etc. I am just as likely to watch LOTR as Start Trek. I just prefer the gameplay in ME2 versus DAO. I would give both games high scores, but give ME2 a slightly higher score as it is the better polished, more accessible, and just as epic RPG.
