Not what I was expecting, not an RPG. me2 has been simplfied for shooter boys, for money..

So as big fan of me1 this game was just..another really boring really annoying sequel to a classic. This was a good game on its own but story has been seen in DA and its overly repeated in mass effect 2( I mean on overly setting of plot not real events). What i'm saying is that those two games (DA and ME2) were made by same formula which is fairly disappointing.
I gave it 8.0 for just being mass effect game but I think off mass effect 2 to be just a link between 1st and 3rd. I really hope that me3 will be something unusual and different.
This game has qualities tho, nice mission setup and combat is fun and fast paced. lot of details can keep you intrested for a time. There is two shocking things to find out in main story which i find very interesting, but there is no twist and main plot is linear and predictable. All game is just about upgrading your ship and squad which is like:" oh I don't have this thing so I need to complete a mission" and you will do this quite a lot. Planet scanning is pace breaking and if u want to find some side missions u will have to scan a lot.
You will only have few 'spells' and I hate that even more 'couse one or two of them are ammo types. So it sucks.
Graphics and voice acting is top notch as you would expected and game is not so demanding and can run on high settings easily.
Its is a good sequel but not good enough. I find mass effect 1 better and I recommend playing it first 'couse you wont have a clue what's all fuss about if you haven't played first part( THE BETTER part)
Bioware is publishing DLC's for this game and thats improvement so with all its downsides this is still a good game and good investment.
