I loved this game. After putting this into my 360 I could play nothing else until I finished the final mission.

This is not only my favorite game for the modern consoles but also one of my favorite games of all time. Also included in that category are the ones I was most addicted to many years ago including Sim City in middle school and multiplayer Age of Empires, Starcraft, and Total Annihilation in high school. Once I started playing this game I was almost immediately immersed in its world, the characters inhabiting that world, and the stories that take place there. Prior to playing ME2 I was working my way through FF13 and had read that the latter was criticized due to its linear storytelling. I had previously played mostly RTS games and sports games so had little experience with RPGs and FF13 seemed fine to me. But FF13 offers little if any story customization so the game does not respond to your actions. Its combat is entirely RPG but there are no dialogue choices, etc. ME2 by contrast constantly presents the player with the ability to alter the course of individual missions and the larger game through their decisions. And combat in this game has a great feel to it and would make a nice standalone shooter. I am currently playing FO3 since it has many similarities to ME2 but if ME3 were out I would be playing that instead. Anyways, I could see myself moving into the expansion packs for this game.
