A good game, not great, that leaves such a bitter taste with the unfulfilled, empty and uninspired finale
(+)
* Voice acting, even male Shepard delivers
* Story
* The feeling you have no time and can't be relaxed doing missions in slow pace, this is a war
* Soundtrack
(-)
* Appearances of the characters from ME 2 looked rushed and without a purpose. Just squeezed them to fit them in the game
* Too much auto-dialogue, compared with the previous games. There were times it was feeling like a movie and not a game
* The characters from the previous games don't feel alive and likable anymore and they have lost their personality. All except Liara
* An ending that destroys everything we know about the game's structure, a rushed lazy written finale to an epic adventure ( from all 3 games)
Conclusion
Bioware made promises and did not fulfilled them. Even false advertisement for me. 16 endings? Really? Where are they, I only saw one with three different variations, the color.... I won't put spoilers and explain what and why, it's all around the internet.
The game is good (certainly not for a 9 though) but weaker than the previous ones and a lame finale makes it even worse. They should spend more time into the game's story than hyper-advertise it for the last 6 months.
They destroyed Kotor for the shake of MMOs, they destroyed Dragon Age and they destroyed Mass Effect. Now is time to get their hands on the old-school Baldur's gate with a third installment to destroy that franchise too
