In its own way, it's amazing. Though, not the best in the series.

After a week and a few days, people are still some what unsure of what to think when it comes to Mass Effect 3. The game in its self is amazing, the hardships of making a unique war front to the new characters you add to your team. Everything goes well in Mass Effect 3 to the galaxy, to the ever long codex that always has felt like a History Channel of Mass Effect.

Main Plot: Reapers are attacking, no one listened to Shepard of there attack. Now that the war has started, your mission is one thing. To combine an army massive enough to drive the reapers back. How that happens, is how you play with the decisions you make.

The graphics are nice, a tiny bit better in regards to Mass Effect 2. However, there are a lot of times when talking that you'll see the camera jump from place to place locking in onto a wall, or perhaps having Shepard fading out of camera with just text being said. Sometimes there are a bit texture layouts not loading correctly, or a black flicker that can happen when moving the camera in combat. None of that should draw your attention away from the game its self though.

The game-play has been changed into what feels as an offspring to the combat of Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2. The rolling feature added makes a lot of those places you get caught under fire into safe cover simple and easy. Though I will say, Shepard still at this point loves to jump over cover, or roll into a cover spot, standing up taking a few hits. It happens often due to the buggy already covering. This is especially an anger issue if you want to try to press through Insanity mode.

The story in its self is a great build up, to seeing the Turians and other alien races in the conflict of war. To the plot point of what Cerberus has been up to since the end of Mass Effect 2. Everything is told out well with a few major points that may effect with how the ending may turn out. So making that right decision just like previous installments is important. The ending, for what's worth is something of debate and shouldn't stop you from buying it. By now, I for one know that everyone has probably seen the ending. The game though as a whole is amazing, even with the ending that is given. Just get the game for before the ending. Maybe then the ending may become more clear.

The musical score is once again amazing just like Mass Effect 2. The heart pounding music kicks in when you're locked down in an area, to the simple score of when making a decision. Then the up-beats on the alarm clock in your captains quarters. To the slow sad moving music of the title screen. The music in Mass Effect 3 is just another great reason to just play the game.

Conclusion: While not as strong as Mass Effect 2 or even of that to Mass Effect 1. Mass Effect 3 is an amazing conclusion to an amazing trilogy that has been brought before us these past five years. It closes up a lot of plot holes and questions, and yet opens up many others for fans to discuss about and question. Its key parts like that, that makes Mass Effect as popular as it is. Sure it may be a negative feed back talk, but at the end of the day we are all still talking about Mass Effect until we are given a new trilogy in the Mass Effect universe.

DLC ---- From Ashes-----

The DLC, it depends on how you look at it. To some it's not worth the extra money. To others, it's worth getting because it adds more content on. Your mission is on Eden Prime, and you are to find out more on a Prothean Artifact that was found. I got it, it's not the best but also not the worst. I wouldn't say it really affects the game in anyway, that if you're a fan and want to find out more on the Protheans buy it.
