The ultimate fight?
i liked in me2 how it was up to me where i'm gonna go next even though i knew it was superficial (you need to find these dudes... you can go to 4 places + 6 other places + loyalty... found them ... more loyalty more finding dudes, more exploration)... here it is not so diverse, i never get the feeling i can go anywhere... and when i do get to go it's not so interesting or big...
it is strange to explain but the game feels smaller in scope... one other problem i had was that it always surprised me that some randomly named mission turns out to be a big interesting mission, while some n7 cool named mission turn out to be filler annoying missions...
the rachni mission came out of the blue... i thought it was gonna be some dull 2 minute thing - go there kill a few things, but it turned out to be a full blown long mission with bossess.....
in me2 i had a better vision and understanding of everything than here... here it feels everything is random and non consequential... only missions that you're certain to be big are priority things.... anyway, story is good but told in a strange manner due to these problems... smaller scope, randomness in mission structure.
combat feels great.... i played infiltrator for the first time and i truly enjoyed it.... companions are interesting and chatty... they are talking all the time, sometimes i miss info cause i think its random chatter.... and i'm trying to nail that sniper shot.....:)
character models are sometimes great and sometimes awful... there were times when my default shepard would look like an imbecile while trying to look wise or interested ... it kinda broke the immersion
there is too much cutscenes and talk and too little desicion making.... too little paragon/rengade moments... not enough interrupts.... sometimes i felt like the cutscenes will never end... i kinda dozed a couple of times waiting for the nPC to talk it out (though i was tired that couple of times)
graphics and design is top notch... good word combo top notch.... meh...
all in all good game with too confusing structure
(you never know when there's a big mission gonna come up....and if you're not a completionist or if you are lazy, or plain dumb, if you skip cutscenes or don't pay attention you're gonna miss out on some great stuff there)
i had to search the net and read walkthroughs so i would be prepared for the stuff that i have to go through.... for example tuchanka... and i hate that.... after tuchanka priority all the missions you skipped are lost .......
