If you love Sci-Fi you should buy this game. If you love RPG's you should buy this game. Infact, JUST BUY THIS GAME.

This game was so awesome that I finished it three times. Seriously, 3 times. Mass Effect was a game I had been meaning to play for ages but do time contstraints or downright procrastination, I never got further than Eden Prime (first planet). Basically, it's up to you and your crew to stop a Rogue Spectre bringing about the Universe's doom. So I started it up awhile ago (64 hours ago apparently) and the first thing that drew my attention was that Bioware has created this massive universe that has it's own Codex on various bits of universal knowledge. The story of the game is epic, I can say that I liked this more than Starwars, AND THATS A PRETTY BIG STATEMENT. With various plot twists and Paragon and Renegade Choices which affect the story, this game is guaranteed to keep all you Sci-fi RPG players hooked and thankful that you finally have something other than Starwars: KotOR to play. The combat works great with the ability to upgrade your weapons for increased effectivness agaisnt different enemies. You can also use Tech Abilities like weaken shields or overheat weapons to the Biotic abilites that can hurl people into the air or stop them in their tracks. The only flaw that comes to mind is that a few times during my playthroughs I would get "stuck" in cover and 1 of those times I had to restart from the auto save which was annoying. This game has multiple ways of completing it with a few different endings to complement your choices. I could literally go on for ages as this IS one of my favourite games of all time and I am disappointed at myself for waiting so long to experience it. Go out and buy this game.
