An adventure beyond description, you have to experience it to believe it.
I was sceptical at first, but this has proved to be maybe the most addictive game I have ever played, even though the gameplay has a few flaws, considering it's supposed to be a mixing of RPG and SHOOTER.
The controls are very easy to adapt to, if you'r used to SHOOTER's, but the movements are not as realistic as modern SHOOTER's, and the body twists and turns while equipped with a weapon are a bit stiff. A very fun Sci-Fi combat element are the "POWERS" of the different classes, combining soldier skills, technician skills and biotic abilities(a type of telekinesis and mass effect manipulation). Although the soldier class combat is the seems to give you more of an edge in combat, the other classes are well worth trying out, since they will present you with a different way to fight though the various scenarios.
But the most compelling element of this game, is the story and the many different options during the course of the game, you can be maybe 4 completely different people, since the choice of lead character vary between male and female, you can become the ultimate Go-to Guy or the ultimate Bad-ass, that will make even Jack Bauer look like a boyscout. This is a free choice element that Bioware is famous for, and it makes this game oh-so much fun to play though over and over again. Also it is important to remind you that, the choices you make through this game(even the Romance ones) will have an impact on the sequel if you chose to import your saves.
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT miss out on this game, because it is an adventure beyond description, you have to experience it to believe it.
