30 hours very well spent.
The firefights were great. The in-game menu for activating the abilities
didn't interrupt the action. That was my biggest concern. I thought
it would be an interruption in the action, the action kept on going.
It was smooth, one moment you're shooting, open up the menu, choose
the ability and you're back in action. Also the movement of the characters
went smooth. They moved realistic, even if you turned around fast.
The layout of the customization menu of your loadout was well designed
But there was a moment that it was getting a bit repetitive. Luckily it
was only for a brief moment. The main thing that kept me going was
the story, I wanted to know what was happening, the firefights,
pulling out your sniper, headshot, quickly switch to shotgun,...
Good times.
Graphics: 9/10
The environment was well done. But it would've been better if they
focused not only on the characters, which looked quite detailed,
but also on the surroundings. It wasn't so bad because most of the
things that were close to you looked great.
Sound: 10/10
The reason why I'm giving this a ten is because of the great dialogues
that decides whether you're a Paragon, like me, or a Renegade.
Also the sounds of the weapons were great. There was a sound for
equipping your weapon, each weapon had a cool firing sound, ...
Value: 8/10
Overall, the freedom to choose what you wanted to do was the
thing that kept you going, but I had a moment that it felt like
I was doing the same thing over again.
But this game is too much fun that it will not bother you at all.
Tilt: 10/10
I had days that I played almost 4 hours in a row and that I had to say
to myself, stop playing, you have to eat. No, it wasn't that bad,
but I had days where I realized that most of my day was spent on this game.
But I have no regrets.
Overall: 9,2/10
If you are looking for a game that has great firefights, solid gameplay,
and some RPG elements in it, this is your game.
I think a shooter fan, like me, will also enjoy this game.
