Mass Effect is a deep, immersive experience, which like other games also has a few flaws that keep it from being perfect

User Rating: 9.5 | Mass Effect X360
There are many ways to classify Mass Effect, the average person would consider it a third person shooter, and it's that misconception that made me realize the true depth of this game.

Mass Effect is a game heavily reliant on combat and exploration and ultimately, it's up to the player to decide how to handle each option. There is the possibility of going into firefights gun blazing which makes for a disappointing end, and then there is the option of strategically planning out your fights and it's the amount of gameplay options available to you that make this a refreshing experience each time you play the game. So far it may seem as if this game would have deserved a perfect 10 however there a few bugs and glitches that keep the overall experience from being flawless, for example, elevators happen to be lethal to your patience level as they are basically really long loading spots. Another key issue is the quantity of texture popping that occurs while you are play. This review was basically meant to go into some of the details of the gameplay as I feel that a review on a game's story is ALWAYS up to an individual and I find myself in that position more often than not when getting ready to purchase a story heavy game. So, gameplay is a plus for sure and aside from a few glitches and bugs, Mass Effect turns out to be an amazing experience based on how you perceive the story.
