A rewarding experience if you do most, if not all, of the side quests

I found this game to be very hard to get into, but once I did I couldn't stop playing until I had beaten it. It took me damn near 30 hours, and it's funny because I talked to a buddy who said he had beaten it in about 6. So I'm like "Well, did you do any side quests?" and he replied with "Huh?" Well there you have it. The's not a very long game without those side quests, which actually got a bit repetitive, so I didn't end up doing all of them. But doing a few every now and then was a great break from the main story, which was actually, in my opinion, very well. Upgrading weapons and things of that nature were a bit hard to understand at first, but once you did, you were basically unstoppable. An excellent genre-bending game for sure. If you like rpgs and shooters, pick this one up. There is much to see and do, and the voice acting is really well done. A good game all around.
