I have played hundreds of games in my life and this is the worst sequel I have ever played.

If MOO2 had not been the greatest game of all time, or if I had never played it before I played MOO3, I might have found some playability in it. But I threw the game away after trying to play it and finding out how bad it sucked! They didn't follow the formula for a great game found in MOO2 at all. Just play MOO2 because 3 isn't worth anything by comparison.
Unfortunately no one has ever followed with as great a game in this genre as MOO2. It would seem to be so easy for some smart game company to simply update the graphics, expand the game with a little more depth and keep all of the core elements of this simple game intact and bingo! - and instant classic.
