User Rating: 9 | Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne XBOX
Word's cannot express how much I love Max Payne 2. Ive been playing it non stop since ive gotten it, why is it amazing? I'm not sure, it's just so fun. Gameplay: The game play's like Max Payne1, except it doesnt rely on the shootdodge manuever. It just relies on Bullettime. Is it as affective? Certainly more so, I barely used the shootdodge manuever in this game. You mostly gundown mobsters in this game, but it does mix it up sometimes. You'll play both Mona and Max in this game, for the most part, they play the same. Except, sometimes Mona will snipe enemies for Max. You'll also get Mona as a partner through portions of the game. Not to mention possibly the best team in gaming history. Max, a hobo, and Prostitute. Graphics: The game may not look as good as Max Payne 2 for the PC, BUT WHO CARES! It's gameplay that matter's, and Max Payne 2 is fun to play. Also, Max or any of the enemies or characters have that plastered look on there face like they did in Max Payne 1. The graphic novel art, still looks great to this day. Sound: The game has got some of the greatest voice acting seen to date. Max may sound emotionless, but that's the charm. My favorite character's voice, by far is Vinnie Gognitti. He's just hilarous. The gun's sound great, though some guards do repeat themselves, "What's so funny?" Value: Sure this game isn't long, but ive been playing this game non stop(Specifically the new New York Minute mode). If you like quick, pick me up and play games. This game will definetly hold your attention for months. I just have to say, Max Payne 2, is as fun as Max Payne 1. And that's a good thing, since both games are amazing. This game can be recomended to anybody with an x-box and the ability to swallow the subject matter.
