Sweet gunplay wrapped up in decent graphics, great voice acting, and a beautiful climax.
So there. That probably convinces you. Dead to Rights used it and abused it (my rating:6.9). Max Payne was living the American Dream. He had a beautiful wife, a newborn baby, and lived in the quiet suburbs of New York. Until Max comes back from work(as a cop) to find his wife and baby murdered by guys high on a drug called V. Then, you are framed for murder and hunted by the police and mafia of NY during its worst snowstorm ever. You then begin a jorney through the night to find, and kill, the maker of V.
It has a cool story with some memorable characters, and wraps it all up into a VERY satisfying conclusion.

Max chases Nicole Horne to the top of her building, where she tries to escape in a helicopter. Its on red light because of the snowstorm, and you have a couple of minutes to find out how to stop her. You shoot some ropes that are holding up a huge antenna swaying in the storm. The anntena falls as they are taking off, CRUSING THEM!!!!!HAHAHA!!!BURRRRRRRRRNNN!!!!
