This game was really good. First, i have to tell you, i got this game all of a sudden. I never meant to buy it because i didn't have enough money for any other good game there was. Secondly, i played this game on my XBOX 360 since i found that u could. There were a few pauses. I don't know if it was because of the game itself or just the disc. During the very last cutscene, it just having slight pauses and it got annoying. But still the story was very satisfying. Its about a man whose family are brutally murdered and now he wants revenge. He comes after a mafia boss that murdered his family. Later on, more of his loved ones die and he gets into even more rage. His NYPD partner, Alex, gets murdered by an unknown killer and Max Payne has been framed for the murder. Now, not only he's on the mafia's wanted list but he's also wanted by the NYPD, cops, SWAT, you name it. It kind of reminds me of The Punisher. One by one, he starts brutally killing the suspects of the murder. The more secrets unravel, the more shocking it becomes. He can not trust anyone. I thought the "Bullet Time" feature was cool. It reminded me of the Matrix movies. Everythings all slow motion as you put bullets into your enemies heads, while dodging their bullets in slo-mo. The graphics were okay for an XBOX game. Halo graphics were better though. The special effects were stunning. It was highly violent and bloody. Once you kill the last person in a group, you see him flying back in slow mo, while his blood splatters everywere. There is lots of suspense, murders, victims, weapons, blood, torture scenes, and even stupid annoying dream sequences. The ending is shocking, but there is a second as well. I need to go get that. Anway, Max Payne is a gritty thriller you won't forget.
