Absolutely excellent! Another great Katamari game without flaws!

The great many of us have already played Katamari Damacy, or it's second, We Love Katamari. We know that the gameplay is kept the same, as it is once again in Me and My Katamari for the PSP system.

The Dashing Prince, King of All Cosmos, and the rest are back in yet another game! This time, the prince is on his very own island on vacation and the animals of the island plead for help. They have lost their homes and request you to recreate them by using your Katamari to roll up the certain objects and clear the stages. From this point on, the story gets much more interesting but I leave you to play the game for more.

Old school Katamari Damacy music and the newer We Love Katamari songs have come together with even more tracks to make the music in this game one of the best I have ever heard in a single video game. Whether they carry out the original Katamari on the Rocks tune, or flow their own way such as Shabadoobie or Lonely Rolling Star, the music is highly enjoyable. Not only that, but there is now a sound test section. In fact, I'm listening to it as I type this now.

On the Playstation 2, the controls consisted of the L3 and R3 anolog sticks to roll, turn, revert, or dash forward the Katamari. With the lack of two anologs on the PSP, this becomes slightly more difficult and uncomfortable. The controls use the D-pad and the four main buttons to move the Katamari around. It may take some getting used to, but this is the only problem in the game I find and it doesn't bother me much at all.

The gameplay carries out the same as its previous games. You simply roll the Katamari under a time limit and collect whatever and however many items the objective calls for. There is also an Eternal mode in which you can roll in a specific stage for however long you want. There is no time limit and is simple fun to see how big you can get your Katamari. You can also collect other things such as Royal Cousins or Presents this way.

The new Presents you recieve and the new and old Cousins you roll up make this game endless! The Prince has new accessories that are very much fun to collect and try on! Not only that, but as you collect more Cousins, you can even play as them! And each Present appears different on each Cousin as they do on the Prince.

Katamari Damacy games have always been plenty of fun to play. It may be a smaller system and the use of it may vary, but Me and My Katamari makes an excellent debut as the Prince's first PSP game! You'll spend endless hours playing this game. Highly recommended!
