An improvement of the original in all aspects.
Gameplay: 9
The gameplay of MechAssault 2 isn't vastly different from MechAssault but is different enough that if the game was harder than the score could be put up to a 10. The only major difference from MechAssault is the ability to get out of mechs and into other vehicles, the battle armor is also a nice addition. One of the major changes is the multiplayer, which has become much better than the first game. The addition of friends and clans is a nice new feature and one that makes it better. The same plodding around in mechs is still the great experience from the first game.
Graphics: 9
The graphics are much nicer than the first game but still arn't "10" worthy. Destruction graphics remain similair and are still as awesome as the first time.
Sound: 9
Again the game's sounds are awesome and the original music is great too. The addition of real life bands is nice but I'm not too keen about Korn or Papa Roach, so I usually don't like it when that music plays.
Value: 10
Once again MechAssault 2 is a great value at $20. It could even become $10 soon with Microsoft's new program.

Once again the MechAssault series really delivers and is very fun to play. I give the game a 9.2/10. Also, much of the information in my review for MechAssault is relevant to this one. My other review should be checked out.
