Mechassault was one of the first Xbox live games and even today 2+ years later its still one of the top 10 most popular. Thats because its Extremely fun on Xbox live. First however i will talk about the single player. The single player isnt to horrible but then again its not to great. It does its job of teaching you controls, also by beeting the single player you unlock a mech for Multiplayer. The mech IMo is worth playing through the relatively small single player mode. Onto the Meet and potatoes the Xbox live mode. Mech Assaulkt on Xbox live can be summed up with 2 words Incredibley fun! Theyre are a boat load of game modes. Plenty of maps, mechs, and servers. Also Mech assault has a whole bunch of downloadedable content*All of it is free except for 1 Five dollars package*. Overall Mech Assault just does it all right. The controls feel absolutely perfect and spot on. The graphics are very good and have little to no noticable slow down even if theyres 7 mechs, 2 buildings exploding, and a van flying through the air on your screen at one time :). The maps are extremely cool with nearly everything you see being explodable from the walls, to buildings ETC *This can add a very strategic element*. The sound is good. Overall the multiplayer Aspect of Mech assault is worth the price of admission. The Single player is important for learning hot to control and unlocking mechs. Also you can pick up Mech Assault for only 20 bucks brand new since its a platinum hit.
