This is what kick-start myself as a fan of the MOH series.

Medal of Honor is my first first-person shooter, lol. From that, it springs off to Half-Life, Doom 3 and the bulk of WWII shooters. I remember firing off a GPMG in the first few stages of MOH and getting the vibrations on my controller and that's what makes me feel like a soldier! Yeah! Kick butt! As if my two and a half years of National Service was for naught...

Anyway, the level designs are well laid out to not look repetitive for the many missions that this pioneer game in its series has to offer. The battles are hard though the enemies are scripted so frequent replays can get you out of any sticky situations. One of the best levels surprisingly is the part where you get to play a spy and you have to keep bloodshed as low as possible. That's freakin hard in my experience but I have fun going through it ultimately cos it's very enthralling given that you can't save your game mid-mission, which ups the overall difficulty pretty much.

The graphics were quite up to standard at that time though I still find it hard to make out some of the details especially when I'm looking for equipment or mission-related documents. Regardless, this is one the best FPS in the early days of console gaming.
