A complete different side of MOH game, relying more on tactical gameplay. Snappy graphics and COD style shooting

This game is a complete and utter suprise for MOH fans. If you compare it to Rising Sun, and Frontline, It has quite a different kind of feel to the gameplay. Instead of the normal FPS type, when you aim it zooms in on the picture and the gun. But in ES when you zoom in; you bring the gun up to eye-level and look the the scope of the gun. So if you are a fan of Call of Duty's style of shooting, you'll love the new way of aiming in ES.

The previous MOH games have more of a James Bond sort of feel, with really more just "run and gun" feel to the game. Though the new game does still have the kind of feel, it is more far off in the distance. I believe that EA really wanted to incorporate the feel of the successful COD games into their new game. The missions are more tactical, and you even lead a squad of 3 soldiers, which you can control. This is probably the greatest thing they did in the new game. It really brings a lot of new things to life, like having your men with you to help you when you're in a tight spot. But, the unique thing is that they don't always stay alive. It shows your soldier's health above them, and when they get low on helth, you need to heal them with one of your health kits. At the end of the game you get points for how many men are left..etc.

The graphics are also very, very nice on this game. The gamecube's version really has smooth graphipcs, that bring out the full potential of a GC FPS game.

The Multiplayer system is also well designed. Though after awhile, my friends and I grew tired of it. Before you start the game you can pick what kind of soldier you want to be: British, American, French, Russian, or Axis. You can also pick what kind of weapon you will have. EX: Rifleman, Infantry, Sniper, Heavy Weapons..etc. That will determine what kind of gun you start out with. Though, once in battle you can change your weapon set by the health and reload station. Another thing I liked was that you can upgrade your primary weapon. For example if you had a regular machine gun you can upgrade it to a Thompson, or upgrade your sniper to a faster shooting, more deadly gun.

All-in-all, this is a really fun game, that will make you enjoy every minute of it. It doesn't have too many downfalls, though the story mode could be longer. Or the multiplayer could have better game modes, but if your a WWII FPS fan, you'll love this game.
