One of the best WW2 games out there, but that is not saying much...

User Rating: 7.4 | Medal of Honor Frontline GC
It seems to me that WW2 is one of the most challenging wars to make a innovative game about. It seems like all WW2 shooters are the same, and while Frontline does fall into the "same ol,d same old" catagory, its really a solid title. The campaign is really standard stuff, shoot Nazis and use American and German guns. There's really no story to be spoken of but that didn't bother me too much. The level design is pretty varied, featuring small track shooter sequences and lots of different locales. Graphics-wise, the game definetly could be better, the textures are muddy and I don't think I've ever seen more ugly character models. They almost look like N64 models. The guns do have a nice look to them though. Sound is a major part of the Medal of Honor series and will not disappoint here. Guns sound good, hearing the ping of bullets hitting metal is very realistic. The music is not intruding but is nice for the backrounds. The voice acting, what of it there is, is pretty good. The AI isn't very smart, and the smartest thing they do is get down behind cover. And even then you can see most of their body, making it east to pick them off. While mowing down enemies is plenty of fun, they do make it difficult sometimes; having five Nazis holding down the trigger on their machine guns can cause problems. There is a multiplayer included, and once the radar is turned off, can be pretty intense. Sniping is a joy in multiplayer, (only if your friends don't screen peek. STOP CHEATING!!!), because of the nice large levels and tons of nooks and crannies to hide in. But not only can you snipe, good ol' fashion gun fights are a blast as well. A really solid multiplayer, especially with three or four players. While there are few actual flaws in the game, it just isn't anything new. This makes it just another FPS, though a well-executed one.

Cover Artwork ~B-~ Not bad but could have been better.I do not like one person on the cover there has to be multipule things.
