A solid WW2 FPS with great controls, maps, gameplay, and awesome online multiplayer for 32 players (32!!!)

User Rating: 8.5 | Medal of Honor Heroes PSP
:::GOOD:::
- intense online multiplayer for 32 players
- lots of nice, big maps
- skirmish mode is great for when you're on the go
- great controls
- nice presentation & sound effects

:::BAD:::
- singleplayer campaign is short & shallow
- AI is dumb

::::::SINGLEPLAYER:::::: The singleplayer isn't very deep but the gameplay is great. :::Controls::: The controls for this game are perfect, allowing you to adjust the sensativity so you don't need an lock-on. You can choose from 4 control schemes - the 2 most popular ones are elite (move/strafe with face buttons, aim with analog) and commando (move/strafe with analog, aim with face buttons). The elite control scheme works for me the best. :::Missions::: there are 15 missions on different maps. There are 5 missions for Italy, Holland, and Belgium. They are short and not deep but they are still fun, designed for on-the-go gaming. There are little objectives such as kill some guy or find some document. There are 3 difficulties of the campaign to beat to get 100% completion. You have to get gold medals on the missions to unlock the most stuff. You unlock badges and uniforms for multiplayer so you can show off to everyone. The missions aren't that bad, but they aren't good either.
:::Skirmish::: If you get bored of missions you can always play skirmish , where you jump into a deathmatch vs. the AI. You can customize the map, number of AI (up to 16), and time limit. After the map has loaded you chose your uniform and weapon (snipers, rifles, SMG's, BAR, bazooka, etc). Each side (Americans & Germans) has a weapon for each type of weapon there is. The weapons are nice. You can also hit people with your gun & kill them, and throw grenades, and use pistols (these weapons come with every gun). The maps are also very good and big (you must unlock them in the campaign). Graphics: they are great

::::::MULTIPLAYER:::::: it's really awesome. The battles are very intense with 32 other people. There are 6 different multiplayer game modes: deathmatch (only mode were it's every man for himself), infiltration (capture the flag), domination (capture key areas on the map, control all to win), demolition (allies must destroy 2 bomb sites, Axis defend them), hold the line (axis & allies fight to control one point for as long as possible), and battlelines (Axis & allies hold various points on the map to earn points). The EA servers are easy to join (just jump in any time) and you can host your own game if you want. During a game you can chat with other players via text messages (no mics). You can also shout out preset commands to your team, such as enemy spotted, need backup, affirmative or negative.The online has EA messenger, lobby and rankings, and no lock-on (yes!). Since there is no lock-on, it actually takes skill to kill people (you have to aim) unlike SOCOM. That's what I love about this game. It takes skill to kill; it's fair. Also the online games have barely any lag or none. The online muliplayer for 32 players (oh yeah!) is very fun and intense. It makes this game worth while. This game is definitely worth the buy and I suggest you go buy it if you like shooters. If you can't play online, I wouldn't get this game. The online multiplayer is the best part.
