Great game, and it lives up to expectations of the MOH series that they have created with previous games.
User Rating: 9.5 | Medal of Honor: Vanguard PS2
Medal Of Honor: Vanguard strikes gold on the basis that it is another extremely simple first person World War Two shooter. The style of the game takes on that of previous Medal Of Honor games. You begin the game as a corporal, with the name Keegan, and you are invading Italy in Operation Husky. You parachute into battle with two weapons, the Thompson and M1, both staples of any World War Two based game. Your ability to pick up and use enemy weapons is a little unrealistic, yes, but nevertheless adds to the game. The graphics are perfect, and the framerate is completley solid. Medal Of Honor: Vanguard is basically a simlified version of Medal Of Honor: Airborne. The genius of the game starts with the single player campaign and works its way into the multiplayer battles, whether online or off. You can be German, with different outfits, or American, with different characters. Overall, Medal Of Honor: Vanguard is a truly superb game that complements the Medal Of Honor series.
