I have played both MW2 and BFBC2. They are both terrific games. I have always loved COD games. The problem with MW2 is the way people play it online. It is a solid game in itself but there are just way too many campers entrenching themselves on a ledge or by a window or inside a hallway or room trying to get kill streaks or perhaps just trying to get easy kills while they catch people running by. Too many hiding spots IMO. Teams feel like groups of independent players running and doing their own thing instead of playing like a team. COD also has a chaotic pace to it because of this; it feels like everyone is on a killing rampage who are taking Red Bull or steroids. Medal of Honor online feels more like teamwork. You can't just run around and rush. You will be shot on sight. The Combat Mission mode is a great way to show teamwork as your team has to either defend certain control points on the map or to capture and/or destroy them to advance to the next point.

The thing that really stands out in this game is the outstanding audio and visuals. Gunshots and grenades echoing off in the distance, environment damage and realistic smoke effects make it feel like more of a war zone. Terrific lighting and the sound of footsteps closing in on you only adds to the warfare realism. Never have I heard guns sound so realistic until now with BFBC2 and MOH.

I would recommend giving MOH's multiplayer at least a try. Most negative reviews for MOH are for the single player story campaign. The multiplayer portion has gotten very good reviews mainly. Most people get FPS games nowadays because of online play, not story mode. The exception is probably Halo's story. Online play has a ton of replay value.

Final Thought: Medal of Honor online looks, sounds and feels like the closest thing to a real battlefield compared to any other game I have ever played. MOH may not be the best game overall but when I don't want to face campers or be frustrated online and want competitive balance; where war is happening at a realistic pace with areas of control on the map, I am going to be putting Medal of Honor into my 360. Hope this review helps everyone.
