If you can try not to compare this to COD, you'll get along with it easily otherwise drink some coffee before playing!
You see, it's quite easy: with the huge success of COD: MW, EA wondered: Why don't I do the same thing with my own popular historic shooter and turn it into a big blockbuster or may be even bigger than COD !
And that was exactly the problem: it wanted to do exactly the same thing so it kept imitating small and big things from COD and turned MOH into what it is now.
The first thing that will make you angry and surprised is that despite of having a "so so" graphic; it's system requirements is surprisingly very high...Quad-core cpu, GTX 260(ATI Raedeon 4870)! textures are really good but animations and model details specially the weapons are very ordinary and even sometimes look dated but generally it looks fair. Although I ran the game quite smoothly on my PC but it couldn't stop me comparing the graphics to COD's since it looked really beautiful and it's system requirements was also relatively low.
Don't expect anything new from the gameplay either cause it's just a lower-level copy of COD's; that's why when things start to explode or characters start to shout or things like that you don't feel surprised at all cause almost everything is predictable.
The story is shallow; again just like COD... Now i guess you can't blame it for that can you?
The only great thing about this game is the voice acting and sound effects which are truly satisfying but again...
You know I really tried to stop comparing this game with call of duty and just play it like any other modern FPS but i just couldn't! it looks exactly the same thing but with much lower quality,why? because i believe the developer team didn't really had the passion they needed to make this game good enough they just wanted to do the same things COD did and that was their downfall.
But on the other hand since this game looks really the same as COD so even if it is it can't be bad either right?
Believe me I'm no fanatic of COD but Medal of Honer is a great game, IF you haven't played COD which is a little bit weird...
but for those who have(probably everyone); this is a decent FPS which sometimes gets boring but still it could be fun.
