This game takes everything good about all the other shooters and rolls it into one game.

If you like MW2, COD and Battlefield you will love this game. But if you LOVE MW2, you may or may not like this game. What I believe attracts people to MW2, the fast pace, endless lives, all the unrealistic game unlocks and the somewhat over dramatized game play, is all left out of this game and instead puts the focus back on organized team strategy, something completely lost on most games of this type. There are various game modes on which communication is of the utmost importance. Also the strategy changes depending on whether you are attacking or defending. For instance, on Team Objectives, the attacking team must capture a series of objectives 5-7 in a specific order and the defending team must, well, defend them, one at a time. Attackers begin with 120 (combined lives), defenders have unlimited. This means that attackers need to be careful with there lives untill they capture the current objective (and in the game in general) where they will receive more (30 or so) upon capture. The Taliban can be a bit more wreckless, but are prevented from rushing or "spawn camping" by an out of bounds that will kill you if you advance too far. All this makes for a very engaging game play style. And matched can last 2 minutes (shortest I have play) to 75 minutes (an epic battle I played in last night, and possibly the most fun I have EVER had in a single shooter match) thereis NO CLOCK, the battle continues until one side wins. I especially like how ALL the things that you do play a role in your match skill score, not just kills, but what kind of kills. You are rewarded for kills that are closer to the objective and key kills, verses just running around killing people (this is the part MW2 players may not like). In the two games above, i actually received more skill points for the 2 minute game where I had 6 kills and 4 deaths than in the 75 minute game where I have 38 kills and 42 deaths. This is because there is a scoring system that takes EVERYTHING (or seems to) about the round into consideration. So for instance, my current score is around 1500 which seems to be about upper middle class. At the end of a match it might go to 1535 (+35) for the match depending on the type of kills that I got, the number and score rating of the players I am playing with and against, how fast we completed and seems like a bunch of other things, BUT, it could also go down to 1485 (-15) depending on all the same things.

There are also classes, Assault, Special Ops and Sniper, and you level up on each independently and in the process, unlock certain essential equipment, like scope, ammo clip capacity, silencers, hallow point bullets and new guns. There are not a zillion different guns, just the essentials, couple of assualt rifles, heavy assualt, sniper rifles, shot guns, pistols and some mele weapons. This is actually a great thing, and you know this if you have ever tried to play with a bunch of level 70s on MW2 and you are just a level 15. With MOH, you get perks more for being good and not just for playing more and the perks seems to be jsut right to ENHANCE your skill set.

The graphics are great and more gritty than MW2, which makes the game look more realistic. The sound is awesome you can hear thing in the background like faint dog barks, electricity flowing through a near by circuit board and all of the weapons sound more authentic.

If I had to add one negative about this game it's the fact that you can't go prone, just stand and kneel. There could stand to be more maps, but with the various game play modes it's still pretty diverse. All in all this is my new favorite shooter and I have them ALL.
