Nice reboot singleplayer. Low HP broke multiplayer.
As a critic, however, I'd rather focus on the bad of this game. Campaign Tier 1 mode is damnable. This is a timed hard mode with no checkpoints, similar to the Nightmare mode in Aliens Vs Predator (AVP3). I beat all these modes already so I am not a jealous bi*ch But I deeply resent the hardship (the "doing it all over" thing) the developers put me through. Like someone said, it is cheap to put in a timer and cancel all checkpoints to stress the player. Instead, a better hard mode should feature more enemies that are tougher to kill
The multiplayer has a 5-player requirement. Without it being fulfilled, statistics is not recorded. Today, the game is still fresh so there is no problem. I cannot be so sure six months later. Aliens Vs Predator ranked matches are dead due to the stubborn player requirement. I hate to foresee that Medal of Honor might become the next
Yet the biggest problem is this - players have too low hit points! One burst from an assault rifle and one shot from a sniper rifle will kill any player. Campers and ambushers always comes out victorious. The low HP makes the game not fun (I wouldn't use "not fair" although the world isn't fair to begin with) for people with slightly less accuracy and slower response time. If you played Battlefield Bad Company, you'd know Medal of Honor is inferior. Medal of Honor multiplayer is all about "who gets the jump on who". You don't have enough health to buy you time to react on a situation
All in all, Medal of Honor is still a solid game and I fairly like it.
