Mega Man 10 not only includes an easier setting for beginner players, but also throws in a few surprises for the fans.

After playing Mega Man 10, I did have mixed feelings towards the game compared to Mega Man 9. The robots you face in this game, I don't think, aren't as good as the ones on Mega Man 9 and the layout of some of the levels did seem a bit rushed. However, with this said, this all really comes down to opinion.

At first, I thought this would be disappointing, however as I progressed through the game, it did grow on me. Not only is this game on par with Mega Man 9, it definitely delivers a better package. You can play as both Mega Man and Proto Man, and also have 3 difficult settings. Easy, Medium and Hard (Although as I am writing this review, I have yet to unlock hard).

Easy, I think, is probably a bit too easy. I know it is for the people who are new to the series but I basically completed the whole game without any continues, first try. I probably could have done it without dieing as well if I was a bit more careful, but because the game was very easy, it is hard to not get a bit relentless.

Normal is actually quite hard. Mega Man 9's robot's were quite predictable and easy to outsmart, but these robots are not quite that and really put up a challenge. I am halfway through normal mode at the moment and I am dreading hard mode, It is difficult to imagine what hard mode is like.

Overall Mega Man 10 is a great installment to the series. If you are a fan of Mega Man, this is a must buy, if you haven't already yet. If you haven't played a Mega Man game before, I would recommend giving this game a shot. It is definitely worth the money, especially for gamers who like a challenge.
