Although without a doubt this is the easiest Mega Man of the series, it's presentation will make all 8bit fans nostalgic

I played the first Mega Man when it first came out but it didn't really catch on for some reason. Kids at school were bragging about a hot new sequel called Mega Man 2 and I was at a lack for games that I could think of buying so I decided to pick it up with some of the paper route money I earned. It's easily the easiest Mega Man of the series (you can defeat most bosses with just your mega buster) so this would be a good start if you're new to the series. The original Mega Man is also worth playing but this is what brought in the mainstream gamer to the series. Graphics for it's time were mind bending and it's one of the 8-bit games that I've beaten the most from beginning to end the most in the whole series and I still play it to this very day from time to time. This was the first Mega Man to introduce the infamous Dr. Wily's Castle found in every sequel after it (Mega Man 1 only had a few Dr. Wily's stages which were all present on the boss select screen). It was interesting to see how Dr. Wily's new castle would look in each new installment of Mega Man and this is where it all started. I guess I'm a little more attached to this game, mostly for nostalgic reasons, but even people new to 8-bit games will find this a good place to start in the series. I think alot of people had an issue with the difficulty in the original and they addressed it perhaps a bit too much in this one as easy as it is.
