Mega man 4 may not be the best of the NES mega man games, but its still a pretty fun time. The game has great graphics for an NES, it has probably the best presentation of any of the mega man games on the system, it has fantastic music, which is to be expected from a megaman game, mega man still controls really well, the charge shot is a welcomed addition to the series, and the game is over all still really fun to play. The things holding it back however are slightly more annoying level designs than the last 2 installments, the rush jet has been greatly nerfed sadly, the bosses are a little too easy with the right weaknesses, and most of the weapons you get from them aren’t as memorable or as fun to use compared to the last 2 games. But overall, Megaman 4 gets a 7/10. Its still a pretty good game thats worth checking out for those who are fans of the blue bomber, but it is one of the weaker installments in the classic series.
