There is no excuse for not owning all of the entries in the Mega Man series and all of the Mega Man X games as well. While I played all of the NES Mega Man games as a child this is the only one that I didn't remember being as good as it is. I thought when I was a child that this game was somehow a let down but I played it recently and I think that it may now be my favorite in the series. Well, I'm not quite sure, but it is a great entry in the Mega Man series and if you can't appreciate any of the others in this series, this probably isn't for you either. This game has all of the trademarks that we have grown to love as a part of the Mega Man franchise. Solid background music, smooth gameplay and an overall story that ties all of the elements together in a fashion that improves the indiviidual aspects. At least as fun as any other Mega-Man Man game, with an interesting story to be continued on the SNES with little development in Mega Man 7, and on the Playstation and Dreamcast with Mega Man 8. Great Title, Great Series.
