Welcome back 8-bit Mega Man!!

User Rating: 9 | Mega Man 9 WII
To all you old school gamers who have played the NES back in the days, you know the day Mega Man 9 hit the WiiWare was a glorious day for us. When I heard Mega Man 9 was coming out all 8-bit style, I almost crapped my pants with joy. Buying this game felt like buying Mega Man from the late 80's for my NES.

The game is freakin' hard as hell. I believe it was much harder than Mega Man 1 and the rest of the Mega Man's 2-6. Don't believe me? Before Mega Man 9 arrived on the WiiWare I played Mega Man 1-6 on my old school NES during the month's of July-August. The difficulty was there in Mega Man 1-6 but I managed to breeze right through the stages with ease. Well, except for the robot masters. They're the only ones that gave me trouble. But when you talk about Mega Man 9, oh boy, the stages themselves are so hard that it makes me wanna slam the Wii remote down on the floor like I used to do with my NES controller. (But I didn't cause the Wii remote costs me $$.)

So you ask yourself, why get this game if it's so hard? Well, cause it brings you back to the good, old days on how hard 8-bit NES games were back then. Ah yes, good memories. With a little time and practice, each stage becomes much easier after a while.

So far it has been noted that Mega Man 9 has been bought by 60,000 users in it's first day of release. If it keeps up then we'll probably be seeing more classic games revived for the WiiWare. Sounding good already!!!
