A great compilation of some hard-to-come-by games.
Gameplay:
The compilation itself is very easy to understand and it has an intuitive menu, once you choose one of the eight Megaman games to play (Megaman 1-8) you can start (The game has two hidden games that you can unlock, making a total of ten games). Megaman is a 2-D platformer, sort of like Super Mario Bros, but with a gun. You choose a boss's level to play at the start, go through the level shooting badguys and jumping over pits until you reach the Boss at the end of the level, once defeated you get a new weapon and are shown the boss select screen again, but this time with one boss scratched off.
The Emulation of the games was done very vell and you can hardly see a flaw in each of the games.
Graphics:
Since the game concists of mainly Megaman games from the NES, the game doesnt look very new, for the exception of MM8. The menu looks nice though, but thats all I can really say, no improvments have been made to each games look and feel.
Sound:
The game is filled with catchy tunes that will get stuck in your head, and Capcom has added a few Remixed tracked to be put into the older Megaman gams if desired. All fo the sound effects are kept in tact and everything sounds fine.
Value:
For the price you can get this game now (About 20 USD) youll save alot of money on alot of games you would normally spend hundreds of dollars on, let alone some arcade games. If your an old Megaman fan you can relive the classics, and if your new to the series this is the perfect way to start you off. The game will also last you quite some time unless your very expirienced. Alot of extra features are also available to unlock.
Tilt:
The games look is definetly not up to todays standards, but the game is challenging, but not frusterating, making a great compilation set.
I think I handled that pretty well, I suggest you go out and buy a copy.
