MMBCC is a surprisingly astounding game that is truly misinterpreted in every sense. This is a must-own GBA game by far.

I overlooked this marvel of a game, even though I'm a MegaMan fan, because it was on such a limited release, I knew nothing about it. I saw it at a local Fye, and asked for it for my 16th birthday. Let me tell you, this is easily one of the finest games ever made for the Game Boy Advance and is completely misunderstood by anyone who has ever played it.

My first impression was, "You can't control the Navi? How horrible! This is going to suck!" I was wrong, and jumped the gun big time. When I jumped into the first battle, I played it and left the battle immensely satisfied. I kept battling and found myself swallowed by the game. A game never usually does this to me. Never, unless its that good. I'm critical on video games, and finding ones this good are hard to come by, I'll tell you that.

The game is a card-battling game, where you can control one of 6 navis and their operators (i.e. Lan and MegaMan, Chaud and ProtoMan, Mayl and Roll, etc.) and all have minorly different stories. However, ti depends on who you pick that has different strengths, and the cards you choose. First, you lay down your cards on a tournament-like grid, and you start with 8 cards on the first column, which is the basis for the route you'll take. You wil automatically move to on of the next two cards on the grid, then one of the final two. It's set up in a 8:4:2 Tournament grid. Place the cards in a strategic order, and watch (literally watch) the match unfold. You're thinking "How boring...", but with the soundtrack that rocks hard and cool effects, along with vastly different cards, from Navi cards (change your character), Cannons, Guns, Shields, and all of the chips you know from the MEgaMan Battle Netwrok series are in here, playable, unlockable, and buyable. You can win money from tournaments, all of which have a different theme, from all Fire element navis, to really powerful ones. The difficulty goes a great pace upwards, which is good for when you get better at the game, and is completely user-friendly. It also supports chip trading and battling between two-players via link cable and is fun that way too.

You don't want to miss this game at all. If you did, I would not be sorry for you. It's your loss.
